These pouches begin their life at the tannery, where hides are worked slowly and tanned using traditional methods. Bark-tanned leather has a character all its own—made to be used and to last. With time, it softens and darkens, taking on a deep patina that tells the story of where it’s been and how it’s lived. Each pouch is cut, stitched and finished by hand, creating pouches, wallets, and bags of all shapes and sizes to carry the things you keep the closest.
Many pieces are made using offcuts from other projects, ensuring that as little as possible goes to waste, and that every part of the material finds its purpose.
Below is a collection of examples, please do get in touch if you have an idea in mind which you’d like me to bring to life for you!
You can also have a look at my shop, where you can often find pouches that are ready for their new homes.
